INTERmission 2013

Are you desiring to head to a completely unreached area? Have you thought that you would have to travel across the world to do so? Well, this year’s intermission projects will provide you with the exciting opportunity to enter areas which currently have little or no Adventist presence, right in your own backyard. These missions will provide you with the opportunity to share and learn skills in leadership and outreach.  Daily training will take place to ensure that you are building your toolbox of skills for the LORD as you reach out to these communities in need.

If you are longing for a deeper understanding of God’s calling on your life and how He can use you wherever you are, please join us as we team together with Eastern Canada Youth Conference, Canada Youth Challenge, and Lifestyle Canada in ministering to the needs of the First Nations communities on Manitoulin Island, Canada, from July 26-August 11, 2013. Or join us as we partner with Atlantic Union ASI, the Pennsylvania Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and GYC Atlantic for mission in the urban centers of Allentown, PA and New York, NY, from May 31-June 9, 2013. (Please note: Registration for INTERmission Allentown has just closed).

The participation cost for Manitoulin is $300 which covers the cost of food, accommodation, as well as transportation during the mission. Each participant will be responsible for the cost of his or her flight.  We will be engaging in door-to-door outreach, health evangelism, community outreach and children’s vacation bible school. There will be daily training in these different departments for this mission trip. The deadline for payment for the Manitoulin (Canada) trip is June 26, 2013.

Come share what you know, and learn skills that you desire to develop; we are looking for those with previous knowledge and for those willing to learn! You may feel unprepared and unworthy, but Jesus is waiting to use you to change a life, which will ultimately change your life!
