Letters of Invitation

GYC attendees from some countries may need a personal invitation before they can obtain a visa to attend the conference. If this applies to you, please send an email to visas@gycweb.org that includes the following information in the order given:
  1. Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
  2. Name of the local church of which you are a member
  3. Name of the conference, union, and division which the local church is a part of
  4. Name of the organization that you will be representing, if any
  5. Dates that you intend to be in the United States specifically to attend this year's GYC convention (i.e., when you plan to arrive and leave the United States)
Before receiving personal invitations, prospective international attendees must also submit a letter of recommendation from their local pastor indicating that they are in good standing with the church. The letter must be printed on official Seventh-day Adventist church letterhead and be signed by the pastor. The letter of recommendation may be submitted by fax at 734.418.2099 or by email as a PDF document to visas@gycweb.org. If you are unable to scan or fax the letter, please mail it to

All requests should be received by December 26, 2010.

When we have received all of your information, we will promptly send you a letter of invitation to this year's convention, pending approval of your letter of recommendation and other information.
