Pastor Mark Howard is an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with over twenty years of experience in pastoral ministry and evangelism. He currently serves as the associate director of the Sabbath School & Personal Ministries Department in the Michigan Conference. Pastor Howard is known for his clear, compelling presentations and his passion for the Adventist Message.

Sam Walters is from Wolverhampton, UK where he works as a specialist pediatric pharmacist in a local hospital. He currently serves the Wednesfield SDA Church as the head elder, is the Co-host of the ‘Faith on Top podcast’ and sits on the British Union Conference executive committee. As a former Outreach coordinator for the PEACE Centre of Evangelism, he enjoys witnessing and teaching others to do the same. He has a passion for helping Adventist young professionals live out their faith in the workplace and to seek first the kingdom of God in all that they do. His desire is to be close to God and a blessing to others. In his spare time, Sam enjoys connecting with friends, eating good food, traveling, and listening to audiobooks.

Jermaine Gayle, a native of Jamaica, currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the University Seventh-day Adventist Church in East Lansing, Michigan. He also serves as Chaplain for the East Lansing Police and Fire Departments and continues to seek active engagement in his community. He enjoys painting, biking, and reading as many books as possible in his spare time. A current pursuit is completing his master’s degree in pastoral ministry at Andrews University. Jermaine works in ministry alongside his wife, Allie, and together they share a passion for ministry! Between ministry, school, and home-life, Jermaine loves meeting people, making new friends, and sharing God’s Word.

Mark Finley and his wife, Ernestine “Teenie,” have teamed up in ministry throughout the years. Teenie is known worldwide for teaching natural lifestyle cooking. Together they have been involved in Christian ministry for over 40 years-preaching, teaching and offering spiritual growth workshops, and conducting over 100 evangelistic series that have spanned the globe with sermons translated into over 50 languages. Today, Pastor Finley and Teenie continue their ministry at the Living Hope School of Evangelism Training Center in Haymarket, Virginia.

Andrew is a mission pilot that has been serving overseas since January 2021 with a focus of serving the remote Philippine islands. He is responsible for flying over 230 medevac flights and saving countless lives. Along the journey, he has experienced significant setbacks, grief, and a deeper desire to serve God. Andrew’s life has become an inspiration to hundreds of young people who are excited about finishing God’s work in this generation.

Dr. Eric Walsh was born in Hartford, CT. He is currently the head Elder at the 3 Angel’s Church in Newington, CT. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, Loma Linda University School of Public Health where he received his masters and doctorate in public health. His most important educational experience was his time at Oakwood University. He has served 2 US presidents (George W. Bush and Barack Obama) as an advisor on HIV/AIDS. Dr. Walsh has served at several churches as an associate Pastor. He is now a practicing physician and health care administrator. He travels the globe speaking on many subjects. His wife, Jacqueline, is his partner in ministry and best friend.

Rahel Wells, PhD, is Professor of Old Testament in the Department of Religion and Biblical Languages at Andrews University (Berrien Springs, MI). She has completed graduate degrees in religion and biology, and a PhD in Biblical and Theological Studies from Wheaton College. Rahel is passionate about God’s Word and God’s world, and seeks to combine these areas in teaching, scholarship and ministry. Her current focus areas include God’s care for animals, metaphor in the Old Testament, bioethics, and the books of Deuteronomy and Habakkuk. Along with various academic presentations on these topics, her publications include various journal articles and book chapters, and three book projects in progress. She is married to Bill Wells, and they love doing youth ministry together, as well as backpacking and climbing mountains.

John Peckham (PhD, Andrews University) is associate editor of Adventist Review Ministries and research professor of theology and Christian philosophy at Andrews University. His numerous books include God With Us: An Introduction to Adventist Theology, Theodicy of Love: Cosmic Conflict and the Problem of Evil, Divine Attributes: Knowing the Covenantal God of Scripture, and The Love of God: A Canonical Model, a 2015 Readers’ Choice Award winner. He received educator of the year awards in 2012 (Southwestern Adventist University) and 2016 (Andrews) and loves to share about God’s love and God’s character.

Anil Kanda was born and raised in Orange Country, California but his family comes from Punjab, India. He grew up in the Hindu / Sikh religion, but while a college student and working, he encountered and experienced the powerful truths of God’s word. Anil has been a pastor and conference evangelist for several years but now serves as the Senior Youth/Young Adult Director for Central California. Doug Batchelor is the president and speaker for Amazing Facts International and the lead pastor of the Granite Bay Hilltop Adventist Church in California. His biblical teaching programs can be seen daily on national television cable networks and globally by satellite. For the last 30 years he also hosts Bible Answers Live call-in radio program for Bible questions heard every Sunday night across North American, and now seen live on YouTube. He is the author of numerous articles and books including, The Richest Caveman, Caveman Theology, Broken Chains, and At Jesus’ Feet. Doug is a man of vision and deep spirituality, yet his down-to-earth approach and spontaneous humor enable him to communicate with both Christian and secular audiences. He enjoys flying, scuba diving, riding quads and playing guitar. He and his wife, Karen have five grown children.

Adam Ramdin was born and raised in England in a Adventist home. He went to the USA to study at the age of 19 and later worked for several years as an evangelist with Amazing Facts. In 2007 he accepted a call to return to England where he has had the privilege of serving the church in a variety of capacities including Youth Director, Personal Ministries Director and PEACE evangelism school Director. He is presently the Executive Producer for the Lineage Journey, a ministry he co-founded five years ago. He is married to his beautiful wife, Aiko Ramdin and together they live near Nottingham in England with their son Enoch and daughter Eden. In their spare time, they enjoy bike riding, kayaking, snowboarding, and visiting historical sites of importance to the Christian church.

Aron Crews currently serves as the youth and young adult pastor at the Granite Bay Hilltop Seventh-day Adventist Church. Prior to this, Aron ministered in Michigan for nearly seven years as a pastor, academy chaplain, and Bible teacher. He enjoys studying the Bible with others, outdoor activities, photography, playing basketball, and doing anything and everything with the love of his life, his wife, K’dee Crews.

She loves sharing alongside her husband David on their podcast, Down to Earth with the Burucharas, where they discuss how to create and maintain meaningful and fulfilling relationships. Steven and Tamara Conway have been married for over 22 years. Both were born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Together, they have 4 children between the ages of 21 and 12. Tamara is also a certified Grief Recovery Specialist and a mental health coach.

Before moving to Washington state Matt Parra served as the Evangelism Director of the local conference of North New South Whales Australia as well as the director for ARISE Australia. What does the Bible tell us about music? God ordained the making of music to be a major component of the Old Testament worship service. Much of Scripture is written in poetry that could’ve been sung, and there is even a whole book dedicated to the art. It was a part of the consecration of the temple, soothing the soul of a king, even the last supper, and scenes of the throne room of God. God created music and created us to also create it. GYC Music Committee will share a Biblical survey of music from an Adventist, music professional-informed perspective, focusing on the positive views of music given in Scripture.
