GYC Europe Sponsorship

Registration fees. Cost of food. Plane tickets. Train fare. The tab adds up when one plans to attend a GYC event, and every year young people find creative ways of raising the funds to attend the convention, often at great sacrifice to themselves, their families, and their local churches who support them.

The experience is always worth the cost, though. The time spent getting deep into the Bible, having faith challenged and expanded, opportunities to meet new, like-minded young people, and the excitement of going door to door together leave attendees inspired to return to their home churches, youth groups, and communities energized to do something for the Lord in the fields closest to them.

There are young people in Europe, some who have until recently never even heard of GYC, who would love to have such an experience. But the cost of an international plane ticket on top of the regular costs associated with attending GYC makes it impossible to attend for even those with the most willing and sacrificial spirits. Now, for a one-time event, GYC is coming to their continent. It may only be a train or plane ride away for these young people to experience the same type of training and study as their counterparts in North America.

But for some of these young people, even with GYC Europe being on their own continent, the costs are too great, and they will not be able to participate in this one-time event.

Unless, of course, you are willing to help. GYC would like to open the opportunity for you to give sacrificially to sponsor a young person (or two, or three) who otherwise would not be able to afford to attend GYC Europe. The cost for one attendee to attend the convention is $154, plus 20 euros per night per person for housing. We are asking you to give whatever you can. Ten dollars or $20 will help. So will much larger donations, from those who are able.

If you have been touched by GYC at all over the last ten years, either through attending a convention, listening to recordings online, or participating in one of GYC’s mission trips or training events, please consider giving to help a young person in Europe participate in this unique experience. It’s a one-time opportunity for them—and this is a one-time opportunity for you to support them.

You can make donations to help young people attend this summer’s meetings by sending a check payable to GYC to:

P.O. Box 3786
Ann Arbor, MI 48106

Please note on the check that it is for the GYC Europe Fund. If you would like to make a donation by another method, please email
